While we will be providing buses to and from Man O’ War Vineyard on the day, taxis are also available on Waiheke Island if you prefer to make your own way. Travel time is approximately 40 minutes from Matiatia Ferry Terminal, 30 minutes from Oneroa, 25 minutes from Palm Beach, and 20 minutes from Onetangi, depending on traffic. We recommend booking taxis in advance, particularly during the busy summer season.
Onetangi is the closest main town to the venue and is a wonderful option for accommodation. It’s also where our day-after celebrations will be held at Charlie Farley's, making it an easy and relaxed choice for the weekend.
There are plenty of accommodation options across the island, with Palm Beach and Oneroa also being great alternatives. We recommend booking via platforms such as Airbnb or Booking.com, and suggest booking early as accommodation on Waiheke can fill up quickly.
